Welcome to the Japan-US Friendship Commission
The Japan-US Friendship Commission (JUSFC or "the Commission") is an independent federal agency that provides support for training and information to help prepare Americans to better meet the challenges and opportunities in the US-Japan relationship through grant programs for institutions in the following areas:- Japanese studies in the United States;
- public affairs and education;
- the study of the United States in Japan;
- and the arts.
